Principal Network Engineer

Principal Network Engineer - €100,000 - €105,000

The Role

You’ll be responsible for developing secure, high-availability network architecture across a hybrid cloud/on-premise environment (AWS, Azure, GCP). The position involves both greenfield cloud-focused work and legacy infrastructure migration.

You’ll collaborate with TechOps, DevOps, InfoSec, and senior engineering stakeholders to drive automation, observability, and resilience across the stack.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years in enterprise-level networking and infrastructure

• Deep hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (Panorama administration)

• Strong knowledge of Juniper switching/routing, including VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF

• Experience in network security, VPNs, wireless, authentication protocols (e.g., RADIUS, LDAP)

• Proven ability to work with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

• Exposure to hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Preference for candidates with stable, long-term career history

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications (PCNSE, JNCIP, CCSP, ITIL)

• Experience with disaster recovery planning, monitoring tools, and config management platforms
